MPJ Foundation

Our Mission.

MPJ is a Not-For-Profit Charitable Organisation whose mission is to make health care affordable and accessible for marginalised communities in rural Punjab (India).

Our Reach.

After witnessing the extremely poor health conditions and insufficient medical facilities in rural Punjab first-hand, MPJ was formed to help rectify this issue. Since 2018, MPJ has helped over 100,000 individuals (50+ patients per day). With your help, we’d like to expand our facilities and obtain an even greater reach, ensuring the masses of rural Punjab have access to much-needed health care for an affordable fee.

What we do.

The Charitable Hospital of MPJ Foundation operates with 4 primary doctors and over 10 nurses, serving around 100 patients a day. On-site, we have facilities for blood testing, x-ray and ECG’s respectively, allowing our experienced doctors to assess and advise on a wide variety of medical issues. Furthermore, basic medicines are available on hand in the hospital, ensuring pain relief, alongside the provision of prescriptions to patients to visit specialist doctors.

Major Projects.

Our quarterly medical camps and water filter distribution projects, amongst many others, compound MPJ’s impact as a charitable hospital solving health problems beyond our gates.

Our Next Step.

Explore what MPJ seeks to do in the future! Our vision includes the expansion into dental care, the establishment of bone density examination facilities, a paediatrician service, the obtainment of greater disability equipment and an increase in the regularity of our medical camps.

Donations to help provide medical help

Doing more, together.

MPJ has helped over 100,000 patients. But we’d like to reach even more. Rural Punjab has a population of 17,000,000, so we’ve only scratched the surface. With YOUR support, we’d like to help even more people in need, increase vaccinations against polio, dengue fever and malaria, as well as expand our services to provide optometry, dentistry, bone-density facilities treating osteoporosis and specialised paediatric care.

Meet The Founders.

With the vision of helping those who need it most, our founders created MPJ.

  • Co-Founder

Currently 17 years old, Veer is an enthusiastic individual who strives for the goal of equal opportunity for all, embodied through his passion for community service. Residing in Sydney Australia with access to free and advanced health care, Veer’s visit to rural Punjab in India where basic medical facilities and assistance were non-existent, opened his eyes to the significant medical gap present in our world and sparked within him a desire to make a difference. Thus, partnering with his grandfather, MPJ Foundation was founded as a way to bridge this gap.

Alongside community service, Veer encompasses passions for business and public speaking, hoping to excel in all three endeavours through advocating corporate social responsibility.

Completing a Bachelor of Science Degree from Punjab University, Inder Singh joined the Development Department of the Punjab Government (India) as a Civil Servant. During his 35 years of service as a development officer, he remained a significant figure in the improvement of village life, including the establishment of schools, roads and medical camps in Punjab. Projects such as spearheading the ‘Chandigarh Medical Fair’ in 1992 which involved the check-up of 1200 patients from 25 specialist doctors would award Inder Singh a ‘Commendation for Outstanding Social Work’ Award from the Punjab Government. Possessing an illustrious background in community service, Inder Singh would join his passionate grandson Veer in the establishment of the MPJ charitable hospital.
